I DON’T BELONG HERE
BUT HERE I AM
EVERYONE WAS TALKING AND LAUGHING
I HAD A STRANGE OUT OF PLACE FEELING TODAY
TODAY THEY WERE CONVERSING IN LITTLE GROUPS
TALKING ABOUT THEIR DAY AND WHAT MADE THEM MAD
THE NEXT DAY THEY DID THE SAME
STILL I DON’T BELONG HERE
I HAD NOTHING TO DO
JUST SIT IN A CORNER AND EAT
MAYBE I COULD FIND FUN IN THAT
OR I CAN JUST KEEP SITTING AND LOOKING AT THEM

Scooby-Doo Who (Are You)
Scooby-Doo who runs from ghosts
And fakes a broken paw
Who is the glue to keep the gang together
Who is the rut-ro of every mystery
Whose fur is made of love
Is too scared to help today
Who tells shaggy there is a masked person
Whose fake rabies are insane
Who always eats the sandwich
Is hiding in the Mystery Van
Licks Shaggy and Velma's face
Who wears Daphne's go-go boots like no other
Is frightened
Is a scooby snack about to be eaten
Is the ascot around Fred's neck
Doesn't want to solve mysteries anymore
Is shaking in the hideout
Who always gets lost
Is a big old Scooby-Doo where are you
Who only solves problems for a scooby snack
Is the glue that holds the gang together

Shadow if you come in the morning you must be all day
She will need you to know how she looks with your range
She will need you to see if she should change
She will need you to know if her style will stay
If you leave her mind may go astray
I will keep the sun it won't be too strange
I will even move it a little when it's time to rearrange
Please don’t go stay where you lay.
Water Reflection so shy so sweet
I cannot be with her at night
it's amazing when you meet
You show her right
Your reflection so smooth so neat
When she looks you show her a beautiful sight
I would love to stay but the sun has me beat
She needs you to stay so tell me you might.

ISO #7 Sixteen
On the porch around 7:00 pm I
sat all alone up in the front
yard simply chillen, a bird flew
up, high into the tree it was
almost too far to see. I was sixteen.
I enjoyed watching it
fly across the sky, it's perfect glide,
wingspan of a Goddess; I stared
intently as it went across the
world, smooth and careful. I was sixteen.
I raised my head, I
Could see the top of the tree. The
Bird waited there, watching for
Something, its someone. Suddenly
I felt a free feeling, I was sixteen.
Thinking back to that day, I saw
How I felt, I was sad, I wanted to fly
Away too. I remember sitting there
Letting a few tears drop into my
Lap, on to my phone. I was
Jealous of the bird.
I sat there, sixteen.

“Jack! Jack honey can you come here please?” Blair yelled for her boyfriend.
“Yeah! What is it? Is everything ok? Are you hurt?” Jack asked with the worried look of a parent whose kid had just fallen for the first time.
“I have something to tell you… promise me nothing will change?”
“What? Babe nothing could ever split us apart or change anything. What is it?” Blair looked down at the floor. “Hey, what is it? What's the matter?” Jack lifted Blairs head and stared into her eyes.
“I...I’m pregnant.” Blair finally spit her words out.
“You’re what? This is…”
“I know. I didn’t think this would ever happen, not this soon at least. I’m so sorry, it’s ok if you leave, I understand.” Tears started to swell in Blairs eyes.
“Hey no no, Blair I love you, you are everything to me. I would never leave you, nothing could ever make me leave you. Even if it’s the worst snow storm outside and i'm gone for hours and it seems impossible to come home, I will always come back to you.” Blair lifted her head once more and gazed deep into Jacks eyes.
“I know, its just I know you never-”
“Never wanted anything more than you to be happy.” Jack pulled Blair into a loving bear hug and held her there for what seemed like hours but was only seconds.
“So you’re not leaving?” Blair started to tear up again.
“Never.”
2002
“Ash come here please!” Blair called out to her 5 year old daughter.
“Yes mommy?”
“I have a question for you.”
“I swear it wasn’t me I didn’t-”
“Didn’t do what?” Blair stared down at her daughter feeling very curious and already disappointed in what she had done.
“Um, nothing mommy. What were you asking?” Ash quickly changed the subject back to what her mother was talking about.
“How would you feel about having a brother or sister?” She asked her daughter with a nervous and hopeful look.
“Mommy do you have a person in your tummy?” Ash looked confused.
“Yes sweetheart, i'm having a baby.”
“You’re what?” Jack bursted into the conversation from the living room.
“I’m pregnant. Isn’t this great?” Blairs expression changed to the scared and yet happy look in her eyes as she did when she first was pregnant.
“Um… yeah, sure it, it’s amazing. I’m… I’ll be back.” He turned towards the side door that was in the kitchen.
“Where are you going?” Blair grabed jacks hand.
“I’m just going for a drive, I need to take this in.” Jack pulled away and started to walk out the door with a look that said, i'm never coming back.
“Mommy?” Ash tugged on her mothers shirt.
“Yes baby?”
“Is daddy coming back?” A tear started to drip down her cheek.
“Ash, my sweet baby girl” Jack turned around and picked up his daughter “I will always be back.”
A few hours went by and Jack still hadn’t come home yet. Blair began to worry but she played it off and put Ash to sleep. Blair knew that Jack loved her and that he would never leave but still, deep inside her, she had a gut wrenching feeling that this time he might not come home.
“Jack, can we please talk about this?” Blair spoke to jack over the phone.
“There’s nothing to talk about Blair. We’re having another child and that's amazing, i'm happy I truly am it just caught me by surprise that's all.”
“So you’re not upset?” She heard the lies in his shaky voice but had hope that he was really happy.
“God no, I’m pulling in right now, i’ll be in the house in just a moment.” Just as quickly as he had went for a drive, he hung up the phone and came inside.
There was still some tension throughout Blair's pregnancy but once the baby was born, everything was fine once again and the two high school sweethearts were back to feeling how they did once before.
2007
“Ash! Tess! It’s dinner time!” Blair called out to her daughters.
“Coming!” They both replied in unison.
“Hey there's my little girl!” Jack came through the door and scooped up his youngest daughter Tess.
“Daddy!” Tess wrapped her arms around her father.
“Hey dad.” Ash said as she walked past her father.
“Hi honey, how was work?” Blair leaned over and kissed him, she smelled the whiskey on his breath but chose to keep quiet tonight.
“It was fine, how was your day?” Jack returned the pleasantries.
“It was fun, the girls and I-”
“Yeah that's nice, i'm glad.”
“Jack.” Blair began to get angry.
“Yes mother?” Jack replied snarkingly.
“You know how I feel about you interrupting me when I speak.”
“Oh, sorry princess, i’ll be quiet from now on. Wouldn’t want to upset the queen bee now would I.” His attempted insults made no sense.
“Jack! Not in front of the kids, not right now. It’s time for dinner.” Blair spoke behind her clenched teeth.
“You know what, i’m sick of this!” The chair screeched along the floor as Jack pushed away from the table. He made his way to the fridge, too drunk to remember that he wanted to go out the door “We’re out of milk?” he said with disappointment.
“Yeah, we ran out this morning.” Blair replied.
“I’m going to get more.” Jack left in a hurry like the milk was on sale and he needed to find the best deals.
2012
“Mom when is dad coming home?” Tessa looked up at her mom with clueless eyes.
“Soon honey. He just had to run out and grab some milk, that’s all.” She looked longingly, wearing her fake smile like clown makeup.
“You sure? It’s been a while and the wedder man saids the snow is only gonna get worse.”
“It’s Weatherman and says. It’ll be fine, your father will be home soon don’t worry.” She looked out the window at the white blanket covering the world.
“Well what if-”
“Tell ya what sweety!” She quickly cut her daughter off “If you stop asking questions and just take my word for it I’ll let you have some candy before dinner.” Tess looked at her mother feeling overjoyed. “You have to promise you’ll stop asking questions though, okay?”
“I PROMISE, I PROMISE! I'LL NEVER EVER ASK ANOTHER QUESTION A DAY IN MY LIFE I SWEAR!” Tess shouted with promising excitement.
“Alright, here now go watch some TV, dinner should be done soon.” She handed her daughter the sucker and pushed her along. The sharp sound of the tv turning on broke the peaceful air.
“Breaking news: six car pile up just off the highway
in front of the local Nab n’ Bag, 5 injured and 1...”
“ OKAY! That’s enough of that. Come on, Tess. Let’s go wash up for dinner.” Tess’ older sister, Ash, scooped her up and carried her to the bathroom turning off the tv just a quick as it had been turned on.
“Ash, can I ass you a question?”
“It’s ask and didn’t mom say no more questions?” She looked down at her sister with a sassy look.
“Well yeah but that was before I got my candy and now it’s almost gone and I want to know something.”
“You’re too curious. Why can’t you just give it a rest?” She looked up into the mirror.
“Please, Ash, please please pretty please with the last of my sucker on top!” She reluctantly held out out the last bite of her candy.
“Alright fine, what do you want?” She said, shrugging and taking the last bite of the sucker. Tess winced at the sight then proceeded to ask her question.
“When will dad be home?”
Ash looked down at her little sister with so much hope and wonder in her eyes, she knew someone had to tell her soon so she decided to say it as nice as possible.
“Look, Tess, I don’t know any other way to tell you this, but...dad isn’t coming home.”
“What do you mean? He is too coming home, Ash! You don’t know what you’re talking about!” Tears started to swell in her eyes.
“No Tess he’s not!” Ash argued back, putting her hand on her shoulder.
“Yes he is! He just went to get milk and he’ll be back soon.” Tess said reassuringly and pulling away.
“Tess… that was five years ago”.

20 line rhyming poem about something that annoys me
Hey
Hi how was your day
Mine was good and how was yours
3 hours pass you don’t text anymore
You leave me on read
My heart feels dead
You think i'm annoying
I think your boring
Active 5 minutes ago
Why do I feel like this your just a hoe
You hit me up
I’m like yup
Wanna come over
I feel like I found a four leaf clover
You talk to me when you want
I’m really not down for this kind of taught
You treat me however
Drive me crazy like the weather
Next time you text I know in my head
You’ll be the one who's left on read.

Everyday I sit across the couch
In the same room,
A mess illuminated by a small lamp
Curve of the tv,
Couch full of three
Me covered up in a blanket
You a silhouette.
Most days we watch
old movies i've yet to see.
I look right past you
To the feelings
The shadows dancing behind you
There's no need to say hi,
Or can I come over there,
Or even try and speak.
I can just hide in my phone
Press and click the screen till my thumbs burn
Some days i may notice
The room getting louder from
A scene that makes us chuckle,
Maybe the feeling I watch
Will be shared with me
Like the show we watch--
Then i'll look up from my screen
Over to see what your doing
Ready to laugh
And you will not notice
But you are ready to laugh too.

A scene that makes us chuckle,
Maybe the feeling I watch
Will be shared with me
Like the show we watch--
Then i'll look up from my screen
Over to see what your doing
Ready to laugh
And you will not notice
But you are ready to laugh too.
